Last night I was honoured to give the after dinner speech at Buckinghamshire Business First’s Business Leaders Dinner. I was little daunted to start a talk about the climate and ecological emergency at 10.00 pm! But I shouldn’t have worried; it struck a chord with the assembled business leaders and there were many well informed and thought provoking questions. We talked about how important it was for businesses to understand their impacts, role and purpose, and how that can boost resilience in a rapidly changing market place. It’s so encouraging to hear so many businesses keen to start or evolve their environmental strategy to really focus on material impacts and drive change.
